Whether or not you’re able to attend Taste of Fort Collins, we have you covered with some eats and drinks you can try this weekend and beyond.
Take your pick of these hearty, spicy or light options, which can be found throughout the rest of Taste of Fort Collins and around Northern Colorado after the festival wraps.
Whisky BBQ burger
Where: Fork Yeah food truck
Want a hearty bite? Try this whisky BBQ burger from Northern Colorado’s Fork Yeah food truck. Topped with pepper jack cheese, mixed greens and — the star of the show — a local whisky barbecue sauce. Fork Yeah is a regular at Fort Collins breweries and can often be found at the Tuesday night FoCo Food Truck rally in City Park.
Iced chai latte
Where: Konjo Ethiopian Coffee, 3701 Le Fever Drive
Need a pick me up on a hot summer day? Try an iced chai latte or iced spiced coffee at Konjo Ethiopian Coffee, which is a Larimer County Farmers Market regular and a brick-and-mortar newcomer in southeast Fort Collins.
Spice up your summer with a fresh-cut Mexican fruit cup drizzled in chamoy and sprinkled with Tajin from Nieves y Botanas del Bajio in north Fort Collins.
Where: Mama Pistilli’s House of Meatballs, 167 S Madison Ave, Loveland
Looking for comfort food? Try some classic Italian fare — including some honkin’ meatballs — from Mama Pistilli’s House of Meatballs in Loveland.
A scoop from Churn
While Old Town Churn was headquarted out of an ice cream trailer during Taste of Fort Collins, the ice cream shop calls Old Town’s The Exchange — and a giant antique wooden ice cream churn bucket — home. Looking for a recommendation? Try their salted Oreo ice cream, a twist on a classic that also has a vegan option.
